Jewellery and display

My research is based on an art-led approach to contemporary jewellery that moves away from making a physical object and looks toward palpable ways of presenting jewellery as a language. This schema focuses on relational strategies that evoke a sensory response or trigger a memory from the audience. This is enabled through the use of digital media to provide a permanent display of the social interactions and bodily processes that are evident in contemporary jewellery which considers the role of viewer in the gallery space. The presentational techniques I choose to explore provide both material and concept in my work.
